Question about a Hampster?

Here recently for about a month I bought a cage for my hampster that has a wheel at the top of the cage that spins when they run it in. The wheel has a platform underneath it and there is this yellowish brown liquid that is on the platform. I keep my hampsters cage very clean all the time. He isn't acting any different he is eating well and drinking water. Now im not certain that its a male because he wont stay still long enough for me to check but it looks like there is no scrotum there. It looks to me like diarrhea or throw up and thats the only place i ever see it. In the compartment in the top I always see little turds...lol Does anyone know what it could be?

How does one go about getting a good career?

Sorry to be the one to break the bad news, but if you went to college to get a specific job you wasted your time. If you want to go to school for a specific career you should have gone to a career college. If you went to a junior college or university, you'll have to figure it out along the way like the rest of us. If you're interested in acting, what about screenwriting? If you want to go back to school, pick something you're interested in. With your degree now you should look into teaching English in a foreign country if you like to travel, or writing grant letters for a business. Face it you'll be overqualified for a lot of jobs you'll get offers for but at the same time realize that if you don't have job experience of any kind, you're screwing yourself over as well. The more time that passes between when you graduate college and when you start working will have employers questioning what you were doing with your time, so hurry up and decide if you want to work or go back to school. Would this deck work? (Casual MTG)?

The deck seems fairly strong, Samurai are very strong, but I do have one or 2 suggestions. Add Sensei's Divining Top, Isochron's Scepter, and Lightning Bolt. These will give you more usability. A couple good creatures to add would be Konda, Eight and a Half Tails, and Isamaru Hound of Konda. Konda is an absolute monster and EaaHT gives your creatures survivability.

Hedgehog cage has tiny tiny black bugs?

My hedgehogs cage has these teeny tiny black bugs in it. i cannot figure out what they are. They are in and on her lil black fleece pocket but i havent seen them anywhere else. she has a lil tent under her dome but there arent any there. She's been sleeping in her pocket lately so i think that why they are only there. She looks like shes losing quills but im not really sure. it really only shows when she balls up and kinda around her ears and shes itchy. when i squash the bugs, its red, like a flea would be from feeding on an animal. i looked up mites, fleas, etc. online and nothing is coming up that looks like what i have. if anyone has any ideas or knows what they are please let me know. i really appreciate it.

I'm looking for different ways to remove old tiles and thinset off my floor. It is an upstairs bathroom so its on a wood floor. Ok so tonight i was laying down in my bed on my laptop when a little bug jumped on the screen. I tried to kill it once or twice and it jumped away but i finally was able to squish it before it left the screen. What are some things I can do with butternut squash?

I love squash. the baked with brown sugar option has already been well covered here, but no one mentioned that it's good with carrots baked along with the squash. also, sometimes i'll just cut the squash lengthwise and scoop out the seeds then fill the hollow with the butter and brown sugar and bake it right in the rind. saves the bother of trying to carve up the thing. if you do it this way, put the squash cut side up in a baking pan and then put about an inch of water in the bottom of the pan. then you just scoop out the insides when it's cooked. so much easier. but if you're looking for a healthier option, cut the squash into slices and then brush it with some olive oil on each side and some fresh herbs ans salt and pepper and roast it that way. i tend to use rosemary, but that may just be because i like rosemary a fair bit. you can experiment with other herbs too. oh, and a little bit of ground cloves is really good with the brown sugar too. enjoy:)

Homemade NaOH battery?

Every summer i make my own soap for myself for the year, this year i ordered way too much Sodium Hydroxide and German pretzels are getting old. In my garage i found a working 350 watt DC to AC power inverter so i decided to use my extra NaOH as an electrolyte in a homemade battery to use with the inverter to get a couple working outlets if the power ever goes out. I realize this battery is going to have an epic number of cells to power this thing but i'm willing to give it a shot. Long story short i am asking if anyone has experience with something like this (using NaOH as electrolyte) and if so you could save me alot of research and experimentation if you could give me some data, ie which metals to use as anode/cathode or is copper and zinc from the old grade school potato batteries still optimal, what concentration of solution is optimal, what volume of liquid/distance between electrodes, optimal surface area of said electrodes, would i be better off with a series or parallel circuit to connect the cells, things like that. This may be my first time building a legit battery that makes usable amounts of power, but being a science major i am very familiar with the chemistry so no need to dumb down the nomenclature and DEFIANTLY keep the safety lectures on caustic solutions and electrical safety to yourself, I know my way around the stuff.

Hydrocodone cold water extraction didn't work?

Okay so I had 12 vicodin and no longer had anymore jaw pain (had wisdom teeth pulled) so I decided to take advantage of what I had in front of me. Concidering that I didn't want to just down 6000mg of acetaminophen and severely damage my liver and only wanted the 5mg of hydrocodone per pill I looked online and found the cold water extraction technique. I crushed the 12 pills and put them in about 2 oz of warm water and stirred it for about 2 minutes. After wards I put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Took the liquid and strained it through 2 coffee filters into a clean cup. That of which I drank and threw away the remains. Dissapointaly I still haven't felt one thing and its been two hours, which by now I know for a fact that I wont feel anything. Why didn't this work? It was 60mg of hydrocodone and I haven't taken more than 2 of these pills at a time. The water looked like a slight milky haze and tasted very sour, made me have a discusted look on my face. My nose is now started to itch severely so could it be that I have an extremely high tolerance?

1 year old throwing up?

Horse won't let me put cream on leg?

Today my horse was prescribed some dermisol cream from the vet, to go on a lesion thing on the back of his knee (basically its mud fever which didn't heal properly). So I'm 14 and 5'1"and about 15 pounds overweight. I also have a bit more muscle than you average teen. Whenever I start a run I feel fine then during my run I have shortness of breath, followed by a tight chest. i was in my room and i saw a rather big spider on my carpet. it was like the size of a full-grown daddy long leg. it's body was green/brown with skinny brownish legs. i got my sneaker and squashed it meaning to kill it. but it was still alive after i hit it with my shoe. i did this like 4 more times until it stopped crawling. i thought it was dead but it's legs kept moving. i kept hitting it with my shoe but i continued to move. all its legs were disconnected from the body. okay, now this is the freaky part: all the legs continued to move by themselves. they were not connected to the body. and it was muscle spasms or whatever. they were all moving randomly like it was still alive in a way. they kept moving for like 30 minutes. i finally got a vacuum and vacuumed the legs and body up and they were still moving as i vacuumed. what kind of spider is this?! is there a name for it?! it freaked me out so much. it was like a zombie spider or something. scary.

Why is my cat breathing different?

Just lately I've noticed my cat breathing differently. Her activity level has not changed. She is 3 months old and occasionally makes weird breath sounds. I have a really old snap-on 1/2" ratchet that I found. I know with their lifetime guarantee, they would give me a brand new one if it was broken. But that's the problem. It isn't broken. hey, i have a fiesta 1.1 1993. i have had a service done to it about 6 months ago and got told my emissions was at 600 grams < i think thats the word for it. the maximum is 300 so its double the maximum. when i get out of the car after driving i smell alot of fuel. and if i rev my car a load of black liquid comes out of the exhaust. and my exhaust is very black at the tip of it. but there is loads of it and all of a sudden my battery light has came on. some times it stays on when my car is cut of and keys out. but my car goes flat over night. so the light might just be that my altinator has gone. the car did cut out on me when i came to the end of a road when my clutch is in. revs drop to 1000 rmp then goes up and down up then goes to 0 rpm. i pulled the acceleration tight so problems ok but must be a problem some where. but i dont no what it could be. thank you for reading. Weird liquid coming out of my boobs?

Blisters after cutting grass?

Every time I cut a lot of grass, maybe when the grass has gotten taller than I would normally let it, I break out in blisters wherever the grass "splatter" has contacted my skin. But not immediately, it always takes about 2 days for them to form, they start off as just red marks, not raised or itchy or painful, just red marks, then they turn to blisters. Not huge blisters, but blisters none the less. They are filled with a clear liquid and are very easy to burst, they're not painful or particularly itchy and they go away after a few days. This definitely has something to do with the wet grass that splatters onto my skin from the strimmer as this is the only time this happens. If I burst one of these blisters, I can almost watch it refill! Takes maybe less than an hour to reform and be just how it was before I burst it! Bursting them does not appear to cause them to spread. Anyone else experience anything similar? Any ideas what it is?

o oh he really seems to be fussy. but no problem there are many vegetarian dishes which you can cook . Google for vegetarian recipes you will find plenty of spicy and salty food. i think you can give a try to Indian foods which are really spicy.

i tried using the maybelline mineral power concealer and it works well enough unless it's hot outside, in which case it pretty much just melts off my face. can anyone recommend a good concealer thats affordable, can easily match my skin tone, and will stay put and look natural? i've tried a lot of different products but they always end up looking cakey. it doesn't really matter if it's a stick or powder or whatever, but i usually tend to go for the liquid concealers (but like i said they haven't really been working for me anyway)

I miss understood how much pumpkin to give my dog and she's been throwing up since last night?

Covergirl Natureluxe liquid foundation?

The coverage is fantastic and it made my skin look fresh and dewy, however, if you have oily skin I recommend avoiding this foundation as it is moisturizing so it makes your skin more oily and causes the makeup to slip and slide. But if you really want to use it, you apply it either using a makeup sponge and dabbing it on, using a foundation brush and apply it in criss-cross motions to avoid streaking, or using clean fingers to rub it in. 3 yr old son broke his tibia and still limps - should my husband be so worried about his future development?

Following a fall down a 20 meter drop in a sledge, he broke his tibia (non displaced fracture) - (thank goodness that's all it was). 2 weeks in plaster, now 4 weeks out of plaster - he's had 5 physio sessions. The physiotherapist seems happy that he's done enough, but he's walking now with his foot turned out and limps. How good is spaghetti squash?

It has a plain flavor and really does look like spaghetti! Cut in half and remove the seeds. Place cut-side down on a baking sheet and bake at 350 until soft (45 min to an hour or so). Cool slightly and then use a fork to scrape out the strands into a bowl. We like it plain with butter and parmesan cheese, or topped with spaghetti sauce & cooked sausage. Delicious and low carb!

My cat has a bad case of diarrhea.?

Hi, me and my roommate just got a kitten ( about 6-7 months and weighs about 5 pounds) from our work friend about 2 weeks ago. The day we got him we noticed that he was infested with fleas, he also had a bad case of diarrhea, we also noticed that he sneezes quite a bit. That day we got rid of the fleas but all of the other symptoms still exist. Since then he's still has diarrhea, his stools are very slimmy, wet and has a foul smell it's also a very light brown color, he has trouble holding it in till he gets to one spot of the litter box. We are unable to take him to the vet because we have been busy with finals and work. A couple of days ago a friend bought him a Liquid De-wormer which we just gave to him and now his diarrhea has worsened to the point where he can barely hold it before he gets to the litter box. Pelvic pain/pressure?

Hey...so I'm 24 weeks pregnant with twin boys, which are measuring 25 n 26 weeks! And well ever since I was about 4 months pregnant, I had all this pelvic pain down in my groin but Now it is so intense! At night I can no longer lay on my left side (with my pregnancy pillow) in between my legs, for it hurts too bad. I can lay on my right side for maybe 10 minutes and it gets to where it hurts even worse! Like when I go to roll over it feels like the two bones that run throughmy groin ( I actually refer it as my cooch) are about to shatter! Just walking hurts...feels more of like somebody has a long needle and has a sledge hammer, hammering it right on in! I sit down to out my pants on, I sleep with a pillow in between my leg, I tried doing the whole siting on all four rocking but that's like I might have to call 911 to get me off the floor type pain! The doctor gave me some muscle relaxer to help with back pain and some pressure! Yea it don't work! I called them today and told them I could no longer sleep on my left side and she said that was fine as long as I was comfortable! Which is never cuz if I lay on my back it hurts or I can't breathe! I know it isn't round ligament pains because those hurt around where i had a previous c section! I dunno I'm just at a total loss! Miserable, tired of not being able to roll, get out of bed or off the couch, or be able to dust my bottom part of my coffee table, get in and out of the tub !!! Agh sorry if I rambled and for all typos for I am in bed on my phone! But any great advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

CARPET STAIN EMERGENCY!!!... please please help?

I've just moved into a beautiful new flat and have spilt blackcurrant squash on the carpet. Whilst googling (and panicking) i've used washing up liquid and water... and then went on to use handwash washing powder and water. The blackcurrant purple stain is gone and now i'm left with what looks like maybe a water stain(?)... It's been 3 days and has not gone. My friend has this old vending machine that used to be in a state rest area, but was discontinued when a new person took over the vending machine route... the front glass on it is 5/8 thick so I tried using a hammer nothing! What have I done to my finger? Do I need it checking over?

Yesterday, somebody shut a door while my finger was in it and it got a bit squashed. It's my pinkie finger. I didn't do anything at the time (other than swear profusely!). However, when I woke up this morning it's all swollen. I can kind of wiggle it a bit but can't bend it because of the swelling and it hurts too! If I run a finger over the top of it I can feel a bump and it's feeling rather painful right now! My main concern is that the end of my finger has gone numb and tingly! Is that normal? Small swollen bump under the skin on my palm?

My wife has had this bump 'in' her hand for the past 2 months almost. We have tried popping it, and nothing comes out but clear liquid sometimes. It is located in the general area between her index finger and thumb on her palm. It started out small and progressively got worse, it was very tender and painful for her to touch it or to use anything with that hand. Last night I was sitting at home, my neighbor came over and said he was having a get together at his place directly across the street. So I went over, his family was there about 7 latino males and 5 latino women, we are all having a good time. We were all drinking, and we were all outside in between two cars when suddenly one of the women ran over to me saying "you can't hit him like that!" and started hitting me (I never hit anyone to begin with of course) and at that moment all of them began to hit me, my 12 year old son saw the whole thing happen and began to try to helo me and get my family. I managed to make it across the street almost to my door when one of the men grabbed a sledge hammer out from the back of his truck and hit my leg with the hammer. My family was trying to get me into the house when one of the women attacked my 18 year old daughter. Once we made it into the house we called the police. They came and talked to us for about 3 minutes, then went over and began 'invesitgating" at the neighbors for approx. 15 mins. When they finally came to out door we invited them in and they basically said that the neighbors said I was calling them racist names and thats why the fights broke out. Also they said that I was the one with the sledge hammer! The police said the neighbors don't want to press charges and if we wanted to press charges then they would have to bring both families to jail! This isnt right something should have been done, we didnt get a police report and I dont understand why the police were talking to them first and why they believe them. What can I do?

Flagstone/stone on top of concrete?

We have a concrete patio 25 years old. It has two surface cracks and one deeper one that we repaired by sanding down and filling. The soil below is adobe. We'd like to cover the concrete with stone, but are aware that we don't know if the original concrete is reinforced in any way. We have heard of "Latex modified thinset" as a base then trowel it - then put on the stones on top. We are concerned about movement (northern California & the cracks already in the patio) - so, should we just sledge hammer out the concrete and start over(ugh) or can we move forward? Help!!! Cant get my wheel off?

So the other day I bought a 1998 dodge ram 2x4. I am now trying to put front brakes on it because they are shot. Problem is I can not get the driver front wheel off the rotor due to rust. I took the lug nuts off and even knocked the studs out to make it easier to get off. I have drove the car without lug nuts and studs still no luck. Used 2 cans of pb blaster and liquid wrench and hit with a 20lb sledge hammer. Also put a chain around the wheel and tied to tree and used my come-a-long and it still wouldnt give. Basically I'm out of ideas. I work on cars all the time and have never seen on like this. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!

Scared my newborn rabbits could die?

I just got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. What other things should I do?

I've been drinking water(to stay hydrated so I won't pass out which has almost happened twice already), I've been playing my DS, getting on the internet and listening to music. I tried to eat bread yesterday, but I couldn't swallow it because I'm really swollen(my right side's the worse right now but the swelling's gone down because I took a nap with the ice on that side of my mouth). I had one male fiddler crab for the last couple months. A few weeks ago I got 2 females. One female was a little bigger, the same size as my male and the other female was probably half the size. Okay so I had 12 vicodin and no longer had anymore jaw pain (had wisdom teeth pulled) so I decided to take advantage of what I had in front of me. Concidering that I didn't want to just down 6000mg of acetaminophen and severely damage my liver and only wanted the 5mg of hydrocodone per pill I looked online and found the cold water extraction technique. I crushed the 12 pills and put them in about 2 oz of warm water and stirred it for about 2 minutes. After wards I put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Took the liquid and strained it through 2 coffee filters into a clean cup. That of which I drank and threw away the remains. Dissapointaly I still haven't felt one thing and its been two hours, which by now I know for a fact that I wont feel anything. Why didn't this work? okay so my dad has been having really bad chest pains lately, this started about last week or so but at that time it was off and on. yesterday we went to kings dominion and he went on the anaconda with me (bad idea) so after wards he was having really bad heart burn and i was concerned, so then it went away , but kept on comming back. then today we went to the store together and he was carrying 2 bags of groceries and when we got into the car, his chest pains came back and we had to sit in the car for a few minutes, before we could drive off, it was so bad. then when we got home he went straight to bed to lay down and relax, also my mom had to help him get up, when he was laying on his back, it hurt so much. and im Reallyy worried about him! 4-5 week old kitten (female) peeing blood?

I rescued a (estimated) 4 week old female kitten. I have been giving it Hartz milk replacement and give it a tiny bit of Whiskas cat food twice a day (not the crunchy solid food but the wet solid food). We took it to the vet about a week ago and they gave it medicine to de-worm it but said that it was too young for shots. The kitten knows to use the litter box and does regularly. However every other day (or two) she will pee and it looks like gooey blood is coming out. When she gets this gooey blood coming out it isn't really a liquid and stays attached to her until I wipe it away. Also she starts peeing everywhere (except the litter box, which she knows to use) when the blood is there. After I wipe/pull away the blood (sometimes it doesn't come off if you just wipe) she attempts to pee and more comes out, and it practically blocks her from peeing. When this happens it normally lasts about an hour or two before it just returns to normal. Does anyone know whats going on with her? She hasn't been stepped on or injured in anyway so I don't really know whats happening.

If somebody created an idea to create free abundant energy from a simple device that was just overlooked by modern science, and that person wanted to try to make something off the idea, how would someone do that? How would you get past the influence of the existing energy companies which power and influence are directly interconnected with the government? You wonder how many designs have been squashed by fossil fuel interests which stretch into the financial fabric if the entire country. Since this exists they can leverage the politicians they have been funding to execute the patent office gag order 181 so it is permanently deleted from history, if the inventor is lucky, otherwise I'm sure they could arrange for an unfortunate accident to happen which I'm sure would be cheaper than a payout or letting it go to market and watch their product become "antiquated" other than lubrication purposes.
