CARPET STAIN EMERGENCY!!!... please please help?

I've just moved into a beautiful new flat and have spilt blackcurrant squash on the carpet. Whilst googling (and panicking) i've used washing up liquid and water... and then went on to use handwash washing powder and water. The blackcurrant purple stain is gone and now i'm left with what looks like maybe a water stain(?)... It's been 3 days and has not gone. I'm not sure that it is a water mark because i spilt a little bit of water somewhere else a couple of hours ago and it's already disappearing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
