Trying to identify car manufacturer by logo - please help!?

The car in question was a sleek, pretty powerful-looking sports car. It had nothing on the back except for a silver manufacturer's logo, kind of similar to Opel, although it definitely wasn't Opel. It was a Z in a circle, but much less squashed and more Z-like than Opel, if that makes sense. Any ideas?
