Which book is better?

i watched the show "The Pacific" and i saw that Eugene Sledge wrote a novel titled, "With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa" and that Robert Leckie wrote, "Helmet for my Pillow". I plan on buying these books but i was wondering if anyone has read both and which one is better? thanks
